The Office of New Student & Family Programs oversees all orientation and transition programs for new students and their families. We also provide services and information to parents and families through the Parents Association. Our programs include orientation, Welcome Week, Parents Association, Family Weekend events, and more.
Our office collaborates with campus and community partners to provide mentoring opportunities for new students, and we proudly employ undergraduate students to work with us in developmental leadership positions.
Our staff relies on numerous student leaders including Student Director Staff and Orientation Leaders who are responsible for the success of our programs.
The mission of New Student & Family Programs is to connect new students to the university community, inform students and parents of university resources, and create a system of support for families in order to impact student success from orientation through graduation.
