About the Parents Association

The mission of the Parents Association is to provide support and information to the parents or guardians of UT students and help them become partners with the university in the education and development of every student.
UT's Way to Support Caring, Involved Parents
The UT Parents Association was founded in 2002 to help parents stay involved with their students and develop their own connection to the
university. The Parents Association keeps you informed about critical campus news,
dates to remember, resources to ensure your student's academic success, and a host of exciting events taking place on our campus. Should you ever have questions or concerns, we are your support system.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the University of Tennessee
Parents Association web site. On behalf of the Parents Association, I
extend a special invitation to you to join other parents and guardians
who are interested in sharing and supporting their student's educational
experience. Because we realize that parents are a very important part
of the university community, the Parents Association was established to
serve as your personal link to The University of Tennessee.
One of our principal goals is to provide you with information that will
assist you as you support and share your student's experience
at UT. Our desire is that this web site will be one of the primary
services to facilitate that process. We want the best for you and
your student. That is why we are developing one of the best parent
programs in the nation. Please look around our site and let us know
if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
W. Timothy Rogers
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
