Grants & Scholarships

Parents Association grants and scholarships are funded directly through contributions by parents to the Parents & Families Fund.

Student Scholarships

The Parents Association offers various scholarship programs funded by gifts from parents to the Parents & Families Fund. This year, we are working to simplify the scholarship application process for students of Parents Association members. There are several exclusive scholarship programs available, including the Parents Association Academic Scholarship, the Leadership & Service Scholarship, and the International Scholarship. Each scholarship provides an opportunity for your student to receive funding for unique educational needs at UT or abroad.

The Clinton C. Boyd, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

In September 2014, a the UT Parents Council lost a dear friend and fellow “UT Dad”. Clinton C. Boyd, Jr. was a alumnus of UT’s College of Engineering; he valued family, service, leadership, and the University of Tennessee. In 2015, the Office of Family Engagement created the Clint Boyd Scholarship to honor Clint’s memory and recognize his commitment to UT. The scholarship will be awarded each spring to an engineering student who values education and service, and will be funded by the Parents & Families Fund.
