Summer Send-Off Events
Welcome to the Freshman class of 2009 and their
families! The University of Tennessee Parents
Association is partnering with the Office of
Alumni Affairs to host a number of Summer Send-Off
events in the coming months! The Send-Off events
are a great way for students to meet other students
attending the Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Martin
campuses! Summer Send-Off events are located
in various locations across the state, region,

Several UT Parents Association members are hosting
Summer Send-Off events or assisting their local
UT Alumni Chapter in hosting a Send-Off.

Washington County (TN)
The Washington County UT Alumni Chapter and the UTK Parents Association invite current and incoming UT students, alumni, friends and family to an ice cream social. Join us as we send our students off to their UT Campuses. We will enjoy Ice Cream Sundaes provided by Marble Slab Creamery and bottled water. See you there!

The Greene County UT Alumni Chapter invites incoming freshmen and their families to a send-off picnic. We will have as guest speakers two currently enrolled students who have just completed their freshmen year, as well as several alumni who will share their advice and impressions of becoming a student at UT.
