The Office of New Student & Family Programs strives to provide students and families with meaningful experiences and communications in order to inform students and families about University resources and connect students and families to the larger university community. Programs include Orientation, Family Weekend, Parents Association, and Welcome Week.
The Office of New Student and Family Programs, in partnership with the University community, will foster student success by engaging students and families in the Volunteer Experience.
The mission is to provide a quality transition experience and establish connections for both students and families through “V.O.L.S.”
- Volunteer Community:
Our team is dedicated to the successful transition of all new students and their families by introducing them to the Volunteer community.
Through various engaging programs, we provide inclusive opportunities for students and families to learn more about the University, get involved on campus, and identify campus resources.
NSFP will foster learning and development for student leaders, Parents Council, and staff to achieve academic and personal success.
Through programming and communications, we create a system of support for families in order to positively impact student success from orientation through graduation.
